In November, a group of students and faculty from Holy Cross attended the Georgetown Day School Summit on Sexual Assault and Consent. During an all-school assembly on Monday, March 20, the group who attended: Jazmin Campbell '18, Liz Li '18, Josephine Matta '19, with faculty members Megan Minogue and Stephanie Rickards, gave a presentation about the seminar. Their presentation highlighted Consent – how it is defined, what is required for it to be considered valid, and included an informative video. Each of the attendees also spoke about the large and small group sessions they attended.
Holy Cross plans to participate in the summit again next year. Students are encouraged to submit a nomination (available from School Counselors) to attend.
