This year’s Thanksgiving drive for the Little Sisters of the Poor was themed “No More Hunger Games” after the popular Hunger Games series and took place the week of November 14-18. Homeroom advisories became “Districts” competing to bring in the most items.
To announce the kickoff of the drive a video was shown during an All-School Advisory assembly.
After the drive, over 1,300 items were collected by the advisory “Districts” and donated to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
On Monday, November 21, a concluding video revealed the winning advisory “District” who will receive a prize for their efforts.
The Thanksgiving drive is a coordinated effort organized by the Christian Service office with help from the Campus Ministry department. The videos were created by Education Technology teacher Lauren DeZinno.
