What an incredible Holy Cross Day celebration on Friday, September 13! We were honored that Archbishop Wilton Gregory celebrated the Mass with us to start the day. He was joined on the altar by Father Paul Dressler, OFM Cap., Father James Van Dyke, S.J., and Deacon Frank Avenilla (father of Seren '21). As a thank you for joining us, we presented Archbishop Gregory with a spiritual bouquet from the members of our community and a donation to the Catholic Charities fund for hurricane relief. We also recognized and thanked the Sisters of the Holy Cross who joined us and presented them with a donation for their global educational ministries.
The afternoon included our traditional Holy Cross games—Purple vs. White! The fun concluded with the annual Sister Grace Race, which as usual was won by the seniors.
