Performing Arts Dance teacher Donna Reese ’77 traveled to Le Mans, France (the home of Blessed Basil Moreau, founder of the Holy Cross orders) in June to attend the weeklong International Session in Holy Cross Spirituality conducted by the Marianites of Holy Cross. The trip was attended by over 20 people who work in Holy Cross communities around the world. During the trip the pilgrims visited important places to Father Moreau, learning the history of his life and work. They also visited the shrine where Father Moreau is buried. Ms. Donna says of the trip, “I feel as if I have been blessed with many new friends who have shared a life-changing experience. Each day at the Academy we ask Blessed Basil Moreau and Saint André Bessette to pray for us. This has now taken on a whole new meaning for me.”
