The Academy of the Holy Cross announces the selection of Pedro Paz as the new Head Varsity Soccer Coach, and Aaron Manning as the Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Paz has coached the Holy Cross JV Soccer program for the past two years. Coach Manning has coached both Holy Cross Freshman and JV Soccer programs, also for two years. Both men bring a wealth of knowledge about coaching soccer and have a strong appreciation for the competitiveness of the WCAC league.

Coach Paz was born in Brazil where soccer has always has been a major part of his life as both a fan and player. Prior to coming to Holy Cross, Coach Paz spent three years establishing the Kenmoor Middle School boys' team as a force in their 32-team league from last place to a semifinal appearance. He also spent two seasons as a coach at Dematha Catholic High School with the academy teams and the WCAC teams. Coach Paz holds the United States Soccer Federation D Soccer License and degrees from Auburn University and the University of Maryland.

Coach Manning grew up in Bethesda and played Varsity Soccer at Walt Whitman High School. As a student at Ohio Wesleyan University, his team won the 2011 National Championship.
